Tonight is the Season 7 premiere of USA’s longest running show ‘Psych’. It’s been 10 months since Season 6 ended in April and many fans have been frustrated with the long wait in between seasons. But this season just might be worth the wait.
This year, we are expected to see a lot of surprises and of course, a whole list of guest stars that include Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development), Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club), and Lori Laughlin (Full House).
We should also expect a couple of fun shows that will pay tribute to some things in pop culture. There will be a Blair-Witch Project based show and they have a big show set up for it’s 100th episode which is based on the board game ‘Clue’. The 100th episode is set to be 2-hour long musical along with using the board game as its theme.
The creator of the show has released some spoilers to help all those ‘Psych-o’s’ get ready for the season. Some interesting stuff that he released was that Gus will finally get a steady girlfriend (played by Parminder Nagra from Bend it Like Beckham); Gus’s and Shawn’s friendship will be put to a test as Shawn grows closer to Juliet; Kristy Swanson will return as Lassiter’s girlfriend at the end of the season; and Juliet and Shawn’s relationship leaves the honeymoon phase as they have to start going through the downs of a relationship.
For tonight’s episode, we start where we left off in Season 6. Henry had gotten shot on a beach by an old friend and Shawn rushes to save him. USA has released two clips for tonight’s episode.
Clip 1: We see a more serious side of Shawn as he begs the doctors to save Henry’s life.
