This task at hand, what to drink this weekend, was a bit harder than expected; partially because I recently wrote a piece on all the playoffs teams and regional drinks (http://www.examiner.com/article/nfl-playoffs-drinks-for-every-fan. Additionally, because it seems to easy to just drink wines from California. So therefore, I am taking a more liberal approach for any Ravens fans out there, here are some wine recos to support your team:
- Ravenswood Wines - so these wines are from Sonoma, CA, but with a name like this, I think they are wines worth exploring if you are a Ravens fan as well.
- Miner Family - This is a Napa company which features award winning and often sold out wines. And with a name like Miner, you can be sure the 49ers fans will be happy!
- The Laughing Raven wines are from CA as well, and lend to the MD fans - who will have the last laugh?
- Gold Wine - the first wine (Chardonnay based) with real 24K gold flakes in it. It is a decadant wine for a winning team, and I am sure the 49ers would like to obtain this treasure.
