Lent is a special season where the Spirit of Truth and Love offers us an opportunity to unbind ourselves from all the things which hinder our relationship with God the Father, and His Son, (Our Lord and Savior) Jesus Christ. Lent is the Catholic season which points to the Cross of Jesus as the Way to Resurrection in the abundant Life of faith, hope and charity!

But Lent, in the shadow of the Cross, demands sacrifice!
Famously, Catholics have practiced the tradition of giving up something for Lent. Chocolate, a favorite television show, going to the movies, smoking, cursing, coffee, and an array of little things, have been the sacrifice of Catholics for years! Now, however, in light of our nations social divisions and evaporating morality, in view of the looming HHS religious persecution, and the ever-growing mountain of dead (aborted) baby bodies, cafeteria Catholics, and their President, need to make some sacrifices for the survival of our (once) great nation.

And here are some suggestions:
The President and his Catholic cafeteria minions should give up 'verbicide!' Honest use of the English language would be a good start for the cafeteria Catholic's Lenten practice. 'Social Justice' should be revealed for what it truly is: 'Robbin' Hood robbing from the rich and giving to the Socialists! 'Social Justice' is really redistribution of wealth, built upon entitlement, supported by class warfare, all targeted for the robbery of 'unalienable rights' so that the government can become God.

The President and his Catholic cafeteria minions should give up calling themselves Pro-Choice, Pro-Woman, and practice a little honesty. Any President and self-proclaimed Catholic which endorses killing one's baby, which scars a woman for life (both physically and psychologically), and damages (and literally diminishes) the family forever, is a dealer of choice which can only be called the choice for (the culture of) death!

The President and his Catholic cafeteria minions should give up masquerading their hatred for the Catholic Church in 'healthcare' and 'human rights' lingo, stepping out of the 1960's time warp, and reveal themselves as haters of True Catholicism! For the President, the HHS mandate is nothing more than an attempt at crushing the Bishops, and in a power swap, becoming the Shepherd of his American flock! For Cafeteria Catholics, wishing and chanting to their idols, their pipe-dream of a progressive Pope who endorses women priests, gay marriage, abortion and contraception, and a purely democratic Church, is a sign of demonic obsession which must be let go of this Lent!
