Thursday night, July 3, 2014, it's the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade in Boston (originally slated for Friday, July 4, 2014) and our Governor Deval Patrick will be on hand along with this years line up of entertainers. One of America's favorite bands, The Beach Boys, bringing "Good Vibrations" and a little bit of California with them. The Beach Boys came together back in the late 1960's and gained popularity because of their unique harmonized vocals.

The Beach Boys are led by Jeffrey Foskett and Bruce Johnston, who along with Christian Love, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill (The Cowsills) and Scott Totten continue the legacy of the iconic American band. John Cowsill has been the drummer for the Beach Boys for many years but is also a member of the legendary family band, The Cowsills, who the television series, The Partridge Family, was based on. www.cowsill.com/ The Cowsills grew up in Newport, Rhode Island.

Also on board is Boston's own Joey McIntyre, who is best known for his work as a member of the New Kids on the Block band. The band has been together for over 20 years and continues to perform at worldwide venues and abroad. McIntyre who has been working as a solo artist for several years, has released six CD's thus far. And in addition, Broadway actress and former “Smash” star Megan Hilty along with the cast of “Phantom of the Opera” (which opens at the Boston Opera House this week), and the Boston Children’s Chorus.

The Splash of Blues Band will be playing at the Full Sail, Court Street in Plymouth on Friday night, July 4, 2014. This band came together in 2011 and plays R & B, blues, funk, soul, reggae and Southern rock. Michelle Rockwell on guitar and vocals, Greg Lander on guitar and vocals, Chuck Deptula on bass and Kim Dunning on drums. They are signed wih Rockin Rubin Records.

On Saturday, July 5, 2014, Thirty 6 Red will be performing at Toby Keith's I Love this Bar and Grill, 275 Patriot Place, Foxboro (508) 543-8629. This band does rock, pop and is a high energy cover band. The band is: Larry Smith on vocals, Dave Skinner on guitar, Paul Santry on drums and Jim Politano on bass. Cindy Daley and Friends will be at the Full Sail, 47 Court Street in Plymouth on Saturday night. In 2010 Daley won the Boston Blues Challenge Duo. Showtime 8:30 p.m.

The Slushpuppies will be at the Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill, 15 Middlesex Canal Park in Woburn on Saturday, July 5, 2014. This band rocks it hard!
