The Scituate Heritage Days is this weekend beginning on Friday, August 1, 2014 with musical guests James Montgomery, Jon Butcher, Danny Klein's Full House Band, Leon Russell, Dickie Betts, Girls Guns and Glory and more.
Each year, with the help of many volunteers, the Scituate Chamber of Commerce presents Scituate Heritage Days. The annual event combines live music and entertainment, artisan crafts, kid’s activities and historical site visits for one of the South Shore’s biggest and most anticipated outdoor events of the summer.

On Saturday, August 2, 2014 it's the Onset Blues Festival, Prospect Park, 191 Onset Ave in Onset Village. This is a twenty two year tradition, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and going till 9:00 p.m. This years line up includes Johnny Barnes and the Nightcrawlers, The Fat City Band, Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish, Rosemary's Baby Blues and Lil Ed and the Blue Imperials. This festival is the longest running blues festival in New England and over looks one of the most picturesque harbors.
