What's wrong with the World Cup?

While this has nothing to do with cars, I just have to get it off my chest.

Last weekend I'm stealing glances at the World Cup match between the U.S. and England—and after spending about an hour and a half playing, the thing ends in a tie! (Sorry, a "draw" for you soccer (sorry, "football") snobs).

Why not do like they do in the really fast game of hockey and go to sudden death—more interest and no equivocating.

And what's with those stupid horns the fans at the stadium have to generate that annoying buzz all game long—it's audio waterboarding for the people watching on television. It doesn't pump up one team or the other because the sound is more or less constant.

Maybe if the fans started clubbing each other with them the games would really be interesting!

if the rest of the world is so passionate about this sport why are so many usa yahoos so negative?
