The body mind and soul have their own ideas about what you should be doing to lose weight. Most people try to eat healthier and work out and spend a lot of time choosing the right diet and fitness routine to slim their bodies. What many people don’t already know is listening to the right music actually can have an impact on weight loss goals.
Speed up your pace
Music can be used to set the cardiovascular pace. Using music that is faster can increase the calories you are burning. Listening to music that is upbeat and faster will make you want to pedal faster and workout harder.
Time flies when you are having fun
Faster music does make your time go faster. People stop enjoying fitness and a routine when it stop becoming fun and boring. Listening to music that is not to your liking or just to slow makes it feel like the time goes on forever and “when will I ever get done.” The time you have left is how long your body will be in pain.
It’s inspiring
Working out is meant to make you look better and feel good about yourself, when you are listening to music you walk away from your work out much happier. When you don’t work out to music you have to listen to your thoughts, which can be discouraging depending on the emotional CD playing over and over in your head. When you are listening to music you can concentrate on the timing and the song instead of what is playing in your brain.
Self-esteem
Tune into music and tune others out. Some people are not successful in working out because they spend too much time worrying about what other people may be saying about them. Tune out and put the focus on you.
