What's next for 'Pretty Little Liars' season three

"Pretty Little Liars" season three may not return for another week, but today, Jan. 1., a few spoilers about the ABC Family deadly drama were released by TV Line.

While the four Rosewood girls will have some stories of their own, especially between Aria and Ezra, some big things are going to happen involving the A team. A big part of that is Toby's role in the girls' lives. "We're going down a path [with Toby] and you need to know that [he] has a lot of strong motivation for wanting to take down these girls," according to executive producer Oliver Goldstick. "It's the price [they have] to pay for him taking the fall for a crime he didn't do."

Meanwhile, more will also be revealed about Byron Montgomery's role the night of Ali's disappearance and death. "It really is eye-opening and shocking," Goldstick elaborated.

Fans online are already excited for what drama the show will bring in the winter season. As @That_Blonde_Grl says, "I'm so excited!" Alex Goldschmidt agrees, and says, "In one week, we'll be watching the winter premiere of "Pretty Little Liars." Let me just say, shirtless Toby will leave you breathless."

"Pretty Little Liars" season three returns Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 on ABC Family at 8 p.m. EST.
