What's My Line

In hockey's golden era, every team had a powerhouse line, a terrific trio that dazzled and dazed - whether it be the Production Line, Punch Line, GAG Line or Bread Line. Like nifty nicknames, great line names have disappeared into the boroughs of our memory. Until now.

Here are some "reconstructed" and totally imaginary lines to titillate and tease:

All-Beatles Line
Harold Starr – Jim Harrison – Walt McCartney

All-Stones Line
Brad Richards – Brian Watts – Gord Lane – Keith Jones

Old Yeller Line
Brian Bellows – Doug Mohns – Kevin Haller

The Baseball Line
Jeff Batters - Murray Balfour - Guy Fielder

The Vegas Line
Maxim Bets - Odd Johansen - Dick Gamble

The Justice Line
Tom Laidlaw - Donny Marshall - Bobby Copp

The Penalty Line
Gerry Minor - Bruce Major - Lindy Ruff

The Electric Line
Ron Schock - Bob McCord - Brian Watt

The Winter Line
Theo Fleury - Jeff Freisen - Shawn Burr

The Nobility Line
Derek King - Normand Baron - Ed Reigle

The Grain Line
Red Hay - Adam Oates - Steven Rice

All Texas Line
Ron Huston - Dallas Smith - Scott Garland

The Side-Street Line
Steve Alley - Myles Lane - Bill Root

The Bank Line
Lyndon Byers - Wayne Cashman - Adrian Aucoin

The Cradle Line
Bob Bourne - John Baby - Ian Kidd

The Vomit Line
Valeri Zelepukin – Jim Ralph – Chuck Rayner
