Next week on The Chew there will be a celebration of sorts when they teach viewers all about grilling, the yummiest cheeseburgers ever, viewer-selected Guilty Pleasures, and how to cook and entertain the eco-friendly way.
It could not have come at a better time than Memorial Day. While viewers are preparing for their BBQ's on Monday, the cast will be all about Cheeseburgers! Maria Bello (Prisoners) will decide who has the better cheeseburger between Clinton Kelly's Bloody Marry Sliders or Carla Hall's Lamb Burgers. They will then visit P.Y.T in Philadelphia to learn the secret behind the infamous Spaghetti Burger.
On Tuesday the co-hosts will get "All Up In Your Grill" as they reveal the cover to the new book, The Chew: A Year of Celebrations, Michael Symon shares grilling tips, Mario Batali makes a Grilled Steak and Fondue Sandwich, Clinton cranks out Grilled Cornbread with Bacon-Blackberry Compote, and Daphne Oz puts a healthy spin on it. Wednesday is all about the viewers' guilty pleasures. Joining the cast will be ESPN's Jesse Palmer and there will be a culinary Battle of the Sexes when guest co-host Curtis Stone teams with Michael to duke it out with Daphne and Carla.
Take that grilling to the green, eco-friendly side when the co-hosts make fresh and tasty food. Curtis will join Clinton to make a healthy dish. Michael Symon gives you the do's and don'ts of gardening. Then they will visit a unique park in Las Vegas that has shipping containers repurposed to be used as restaurants and event spaces.
Finally, they go from healthy to greasy in Friday's "Extra Value Friday: Baconfest!" Curtis and Michael will make the 5-in-5 dish, which consists of five ingredients cooked in five minutes for under five dollars. Joining the cast will be Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos to speak about their book, Extra Virgin.
These episodes of The Chew will air on May 26-30 at 1:00 p.m., ET on ABC.
