"I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”(Luke 24:49)

Promises are verbal or written agreements to keep an intended action. A person is making a promise to guarantee that the agreement is to take place. The person receiving the promise has the expectation that the agreement instructions shall happen. Faith to make and receive the promise is required. Faith is having a strong trust and belief.

God makes promises. These are written in His Holy Bible. The Word of God has made several promises that have already happened. There is some being carried out every day. Also, there are future ones yet to happen. The Holy Spirit is sent to believers as keeping with God’s promise. He was sent in the past, in the present, and in the future. He gives power to fulfill the plans and purposes of God.

Believer, God keeps His promises. The Holy Spirit is your received promise by faith and gives you power to fulfill God’s plans.
