The Fox News video of Dr. Ben Carson dissing President Obama's legacy slash ego-pumping Affordable Care Act by proposing his own healthcare "solution" at the National Prayer Breakfast in February is typical of our cultural disconnect.
"Here's my solution," he declared. "When a person is born give him a birth certificate, an electronic medical record and a health savings account."
This immediately concedes that every human being born in America is effectively a "menial," a ward of the state, a "natural resource" to be used for the benefit of the ruling class who will control the life of every menial from birth to death.
To be "given" a birth certificate means to legally force it upon everyone as a part of everyone's mandatory documentation for existing in a society that is defined, run and managed by the ruling class.
The "electronic medical record" is the equivalent of a permanent certificate of existence designed to control and regulate the actions of every menial in society and may ultimately take the form of human-embedded chips containing full bio identifiers and GPS tracking.
And what exactly will "a health savings account" become other than just another manipulated scam like Social Security lockboxes and personal Medicare accounts that will be used to funnel all menials' money into the general treasury where it can be plundered by the ruling politicians and doled out to their favored banksters, corporatists, foreign dictators and their own overseas bank accounts?
Now add to that Rush Limbaugh's enthusiastic cheerleading that this "solution" is "based on our principles of individual responsibility and free market that is a logical solution and makes total sense to everyone who hears it."
Any libertarian could tell "El Rushbo" that anything made mandatory by government is neither "individual responsibility" nor "free market" and it's "logical" and "makes total sense" only to those who are obsessed with controlling every menial in society.
Carson equates this to tithing in the Bible, yet an article in The Christian Post says, "A majority of evangelical leaders believe that the Bible does not require Christians to tithe."
And Jesus is famous for having said, "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's."
The good Dr. Carson needs to solve his own confusion over government mandatory taxing and voluntary Biblical tithing before offering a "solution" for real world healthcare concerns.
Like maybe trying freedom.
