The Avid Shopper
The avid shopper is always shopping. She hits stores and online shops regularly and always has her eyes peeled for what she may be interested in next. The plus about being an avid shopper is you often accumulate a healthy wardrobe of things we all need. This means you'll never be in a pinch when there's a wedding, funeral or job interview on the horizon. When you're always shopping, you'll see that you can get a lot of deals too.
The downfall of the avid shopper is you may succumb to deals and bargains for pieces you may not end up wearing. Be careful when you're shopping to try on anything you buy in-store to avoid buying items that don't flatter. Remember that no matter how great the deal is, if you don't end up wearing the garment, it's a waste of money.
The Discerning Shopper
The discerning shopper isn't one to shop around the clock. She carefully calculates her purchases, whether it's online or in-store and seldom falls victim to impulsive shopping. The discerning shopper knows what she wants and isn't easily swayed by what's hot, new or on sale. The plus about being a discerning shopper is you don't end up wasting money on items you never use.
Unfortunately, the discerning shopper can work with too-small of a wardrobe if you aren't careful. Discerning shoppers have a tendency to veto everything based on a first look. Try things on, even if the item isn't exactly what you had in mind. Sometimes things on the rack look totally different once they're on the body. If you're a stickler for quality, get yourself to outlets of department and specialty stores known for high quality items to help fill out your wardrobe without feeling you're settling.
