What is your favorite Halloween candy?

As a child candy corn was a favorite. Like Baltimore’s famous rainbow cake it would be eaten in layers, the triangular white top, then the yellow and finally the broad base of orange. The thought of eating candy corn today sends a ‘too sugary’ blast to my molars.

Halloween has change from my childhood days. There were homemade rice crispy treats, apples, and grandma's cookies given out by the neighbors but the perverse, demented souls who found putting razor blades in apples and Exlax in chocolate chip cookies exhilarating created the need of individually, hermetically sealed candy treats.

Are any of you making homemade treats any more?

So what are we left with?

This Halloween candy poll is left to choosing from mini wrapped Three Musketeers, Sweet Tarts and other big candy house offerings.

We don’t get many trick or treaters but that doesn’t stop us from buying two bags of candy; this year dark chocolate mint Three Musketeers and Milky Ways were the choices. One must consider the leftovers and what would be palatable or the wiser person picking candies that they hate so they aren’t tempted to eat the leftovers.
