It's transition time, fall is in the air, the temperatures are changing, and daylight savings time will soon be here. When the temperature and seasons change, it causes us to make a shift; in our clothes, the type of shoes we wear, type of earrings, jewelry, and our jackets.
If we don't comply with these changes, there are consequences, such as colds, flu, pneumonia and much more. Typically, we are willing to make the changes because we understand that there are consequences that we'd rather not suffer. We are usually willing to do whatever is necessary.
What is the temperature of your finances? Has your temperature been changing and you haven't made the necessary adjustments to prepare? Why do you keep ignoring it as if it will adjust to you? Don't you realize that by ignoring these temperature changes, you are setting yourself up for bigger consequences later. You will become sick financially, lacking money, deeper in debt, struggling, messed, up, and stressed out. Ask yourself, "is it really worth it"?
When you see your temperature begin to change, start making adjustments. For example, if you know that you're about to have a pay cut because of the sequestration, you can't continue to spend as if nothing's happening.
You are experiencing a temperature change and you need to make immediate adjustments. If you start getting multiple calls from bill collectors, the temperature is changing in your finances and you need to adjust. Pay attention to your temperature; you will feel better and maintain your financial health.
