What is the Cordoba House? – NYC Mosque
So we need to be open minded and allow a mosque to be built within blocks of Ground Zero? Reach out and show religious freedom. Our question is why are there no churches or synagogues in Saudi Arabia? Do we have double standards or should we apply everything equally?
They are testing us with the Cordoba House Project in NYC to see if we are smart enough to understand what they are doing, and how historically ignorant we are. The Cordoba House is an insulting word to the infidels that the Koran talks about. It is in reference to Cordoba, Spain – the capital where the Muslim conquerors had victory their over Christian Spaniards. They converted the church into the world’s third largest mosque complex.
Muslims will say that this term, “Cordoba House”, means interfaith cooperation while every Islamist in the world looks on it to be a symbol of Islamic conquest. Every site where the Islamic have won over the Infidels they have erected a shrine such as the Dome on the Rock in Jerusalem.
It is a sign of contempt for everyone that does not follow their doctrine. At the present time they have 100 mosques in New York City. Yet they need another larger complex by their greatest victory over the USA Infidels. Did you know that no Jew or Christian can enter Mecca? If you want to see the Dome on the Rock you must leave your bibles and religious articles behind. You cannot pray to your God while you are on their site. They want religious freedom where it is to their advantage. They lecture us on tolerance but why do they not allow churches and synagogues in all of Saudi Arabia but finance the families of suicide bombers(Reference Murderers).
If the Muslim world wants religious tolerance then why don’t they allow everyone into Mecca? The Saudi Arabians should allow churches and synagogues to be built and allow their people to choose who to worship without being killed. Why isn’t the international new media calling for this tolerance? You hear from them when they are about to stone a woman for adultery.
Our question is why are we still waiting to rebuild Ground Zero after nine years while the Muslims can build a 13 story building for $100 million dollars within a year?
Our next question is where is the money coming from? They refuse to tell us who the funding sources are. Why are our apologists not willing to challenge what is religious intolerance on the part of the Muslims and then pillar Christians and Jews who complain?
The bottom line is there are two set of standards in our modern world. One is for Christians and Jews, and the other is for anyone else. The bible did say this was going to happen. Mayor Bloomberg is backing the Cordoba Project, our question to him is what kind of Jew are you? We know you are not an Orthodox Jew!!!!!

I'm curious about the argument that there are not Christian churches there and they are screaming religious tolerance. Isn't it just the Islamic folks in the US that are screaming that BECAUSE they are in the US. The US is the one that does pride itself on religious freedoms. Other countries do not tout it the way we do. So saying they need to have it in their countries, because we say so, is like them saying to us that we must not have it. I don't think it works that way. We as a people that hold all of our freedoms near and dear to us, should really do just that. We cannot want those freedoms so badly that we send out children off to war, and then scream about them when someone is doing something we don't like. People aren't necessarily saying they LIKE the mosque, but that they have the right to build it. We as a country guarantee that... until we don't want to. That's not right.
It was never said they should not build one but what was questioned was the reason and the location. Would it show love and cooperation if they relocated the mosque to another location in consideration of the feelings of the people of NYC and USA? It is their policy to be in your face here in the USA, in Spain, Mecca, and Jerusalem. I guess you missed thepoint!!

Second, because of the historical knicker-twist you document above, the name Cordoba House has been abandoned in favor of Park51.
Third, it is not the Muslim world who wants religious tolerance, it is us. It is one of the foundational principles of this country. It is the reason many of our forefathers came here. It is perhaps the essence of being a true American.
The terrorists would love nothing more than for us to ban mosques and burn Qurans. We might as well open recruiting booths for them. Positions like yours are playing right into terrorists' hands.
The facts are not thin it is history which you want to blow by. They changed the name because they found out, that they were found out. With 100 mosques in NYC us wanting the relocation of just one, which would be the largest in the USA, is not asking for anything more than understanding. That they are short on. Please tell me how do you satisfy a terrorist? Do you negotiate with a murderer?
You satisfy a terrorist by yielding to his goal to make you afraid. And it appears the terrorists are winning at that.
First of all this mosque issue is another plan of US government to create chaos by republicans just as planned in 9/11 by republicans to create a chance to invade Iraq.Perfect plan.By the way Muslim world is not only about Saudi Arabia.In Turkey which is a democratic and a muslim country we have synagogues,Christian churches and other temples of other relegions..So When You are talking about muslim community consider other muslim countries some in Europe some in Asia some other part of the world..If your issue is Arabs thats different.Other Muslims are not responsible with their acts......
