What is the cast of 'The Wire' up to in 2014?

For some actors, doing a role can confine them to being typecast. For others, it can open their world to new projects. And for characters that make an impression, some actors will probably never shake their notorious character names. Williams may always be Omar.

Idris Elba (Russell "Stringer" Bell) wrapped up the third season of "Luther." After starring in "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" and "Thor: The Dark World," he'll be in "No Good Deed," "The Gunman," "Second Coming," "Beasts of No Nation" and "Alive Alone."
