Chelsea Houska and Adam Lind have been fighting over visitation rights to their daughter Aubree since season five began, and on last night's episode, the pair appeared together in court where a visitation schedule was established.
On April 2, Wetpaint Entertainment recounted the episode.
"I hate it because I don't like not having control," Chelsea told a friend ahead of her and Adam's court date. "There's no way that I'm going to end up happy. But I have a lawyer … I'm terrified."
Once the two did attend their court hearing, Chelsea and Adam's lawyers decided to postpone the case and begin a three-month trial period in which Adam would have Aubree every other weekend, from Friday at 5:30 p.m. to Sunday at 7:00 p.m. But while Adam could have her over night, he wasn't allowed to have her sleep at his house. Instead, Aubree would have to stay the night at his parent's home.
Although Chelesa wasn't thrilled to be losing every other weekend, she appeared to be confident that Adam would eventually violate the terms, thus giving her back her weekends.
