What is Raindrop Therapy

Raindrop Therapy is a healing method that uses pure essential oils with aromatherapy, reflexology, massage and heat to heal and cleanse our immune system, especially those that are suffering with spine problems since it helps to align the body.

The function of the technique is to bring total balance, harmony, and wellness to our body; whether it is mental, physical, or emotional and this is done in a non-invasive manner.
Raindrop Therapy uses a series of nine essential oils that have antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. The practitioner distributes the oils along the client's spine as if they were tiny drops of rain from a height of about 6 inches. The oils are gently massaged on the spine and over the rest of the back. A hot compress is then applied, which helps the oil absorption and muscle relaxation.

Developed in the 1980s by nutritionist Gary Young, Raindrop Therapy is based on the fact that many spinal misalignments are caused by bacteria that reside dormant along the backbone. This condition causes swelling which creates disfigurement along the spine. The application of essential oils reduces inflammation and kills the virus which provides immediate relief.
Although, originally, it was used to heal problems of the spine, modifications can be included in the therapy to treat other conditions as well. There are practitioners here in the Phoenix Metro area that can be contacted if interested in trying the treatment massage.
