A little 70’s I know but Chef Langton’s sign is not astrological it is the sign for her new culinary endeavor, Gypsy Queen Café. You know Chef Langton from Helen’s Garden Cafe in Canton which was recently closed by its owners Tom Looney and Ed Scherer.
Your ever vigilant reporter/columnist enjoyed a beeramisu by Chef Langton at the Taste of Guiness this evening, a tiramisu with you guessed it, Guiness. Annmarie let Downtown Diane and I know that her Gypsy Queen Café will be hitting the streets of Baltimore in about four weeks. The menu will be diverse, something for everyone’s taste.
You can track this food caravan's progress on twitter @thegypsytruck. The web page is not live as yet but keep an eye on it www.gypsyqueencafe.com
From nowhere through a caravan
Around the campfire light
A lovely woman in motion
With hair as dark as night
Her eyes were like that of a cat in the dark
That hypnotized me with love
She was a gypsy woman,
She was a gypsy woman
