Spirit Guides, specifically, are disincarnate entities that have evolved in their universal awareness through living many lifetimes on Earth and/or other dimensions. They take on the role of an advisor, guardian, or teacher. Our Guides act as intermediaries between our higher self and Source. Their attraction to us is either because they have known us in this, or a former life, and/or because they are of like mind. When you work with a Spirit Guide, you are specifically invoking beings that have this level of awareness.
Although they are not omniscient, our Guides often possess an overview of our destiny path. This provides them with an awareness of who we are as our spirit-selves. They know us as far more than the outer persona we present to the world. Often they can see where we came from before we had a human form, and where we will eventually return to in Spirit form. This frequently includes knowledge of what challenges we have met in other lifetimes, and those we will meet in this one. Our Guides do not have a personal agenda. They are serving Source when helping us on our path. It is from a position of tremendous clarity that they impart their wisdom and guidance.
Our Spirit Guides often have had numerous human incarnations. This is how they have gained wisdom about the human experience. Many of us are also awakening to a larger awareness of who we are beyond the earthly plane. We require a level of guidance that perceives the universe entirely from an expansive viewpoint. We may have Spirit Guides that have not only incarnated in the Earth dimension, but also for example, from a star system or cluster such as the Pleiades or Sirius. If you attract a Spirit Guide who comes from a particular star system, there is a high probability that you also originated from that star system. These are your Spirit Ancestors whom are assisting you in the evolution of your consciousness. As Beings whom have awareness beyond the Earthly realm, they guide us from a powerful level of higher knowledge.
