On Saturday night (Aug. 16) a search party formed to look for missing Boonville, Indiana woman Kristy Kelley. She was last seen late Thursday night, or early Friday morning, but did not show up for work the next day. Her loved ones say that it is out of character for her to go missing and miss work like this. The 27-year-old woman was reportedly last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt, blue jean shorts and sandals. She is also believed to be driving a silver 2003 Nissan Xterra. There aren't many details in this case -- such as what other circumstances surround her disappearance -- but there are plenty of questions to be asked. For starters: What was this woman doing when she was last seen? It's not very specific that she was simply seen in the very early morning hours on Friday (around 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.). Reports also don't indicate whether or not she was alone or if she had actually spoken to anybody -- and if so, what was said?
All that is known at this point is that Kristy Kelley and her vehicle are missing. This could mean any number of things. She could be voluntarily missing and unaware that her disappearance has attracted media coverage (even if her loved ones say it's out of her character to go missing). She could have somehow fallen victim to some kind of foul play, but there are no details or circumstances publicized to support this theory either. She could have also gotten into a car accident -- since neither she or her car have been found yet. If she was out late with friends drinking or partying and still got behind the wheel of a car, this could at least be an avenue of speculation since she is still missing. However, nothing is known in this case right now other than the fact that she's missing and never went to work as she was scheduled.
Her loved ones intend on searching for her today since Saturday's searches turned out nothing. Here's to hoping some good news comes up in this case and Kristy Kelley is found safe and unharmed.
