What Goes Around Comes Around Hollywood celebrates it's one year anniversary

WGACA Fall 2010 Looks

One year ago I show up on the LA fashion scene with only just a vision of where I would be in one year from that day. And one of the very first events I attended on this pathway to my LA fashion destiny was the What Goes Around Comes Around Hollywood store opening party. An event where I rubbed elbows with Nicole Richie and Erin Wasson, met the most dynamic fashionistas around (read: the wonderful Valerie Elizabeth, the society Stylist) and was introduced to the welcoming owners, vintage seekers and designers of WGACA, Seth Weisser and Gerard Maione. All helping me realize that I made the right decision by moving back to my sunny roots in Los Angeles. With a vintage key as a permanent go-to accessory in my wardrobe and a constant reminder of that moment of realization in my life, one year later I return to the scene of the crime to celebrate a one year anniversary for What Goes Around Comes Around. One year later, WGACA has made it’s mark as a Los Angeles shopping mainstay. With Seth and Gerard behind the wheel, What Goes Around Comes Around has brought to LA the classy vintage chic that is should be infused in all of our bohemian wardrobes.

All in all a successful one year anniversary party for What Goes Around Comes Around. Just as expected, the party entrance was a live mannequin presentation of the WGACA Fall 2010 collection to come. I love the mix of plaids, leather, fur, a pop of a tiger-esque print and open toe booties. Then entrè into a Moroccan themed land of bohemia. Moroccan meets Native American, as Seth put it. The scene was exactly what you wanted with serious fashionistas, vintage lovers, and celebrities laughing, drinking, mingling amongst the to-die-for clothes. Favorite spottings? The surprisingly petite Shenae Grimes, the uber-bohemian Peaches Geldof and her uber-hot new man Eli Roth, my personal favorite Taylor Jacobson in the most killer outfit and Herve Leger Shoes and the newest of reality celebrities Janine Jarmon from the hit Bravo Show “Sheer Genius”. Her Hollywood local salon, creatively named Hairroin was behind the hair and make-up of the models for the evening.

WGACA Fall 2010 Looks

Thank you to Seth and Gerard for bringing Los Angeles the fashion and style it needs to keep it’s place in the top of bohemia styling. With many more years to come this is one store, if you haven’t visited by now, should be on the top of your list. While it may have started in New York, it What Goes Around Comes Arouns is classic Los Angeles and here to stay. From your Editor-in-Chic...I’ll see you on the streets!
