What gives you the right to tell me what to do?

Good Saturday morning, Friend:

Prov. 19:20

Pr 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction and in the end you will be wise.

 

Have you ever listened to another speak and then left not knowing what they said. When you got home did you say that you wasted your time because the speaker was boring?

 

Is it possible that the problem was not the speaker, but the listener? Do you suppose that the truth is that you were not paying undivided attention?

 

Another possibility is that you went expecting to learn nothing, because you already know everything!
