Did you know? Safer Internet Day is organized by Insafe in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

Safer Internet Day 2013 will be the10th edition of the event, and will take place on Tuesday 5 February 2013. The theme for the day is 'online rights and responsibilities', where they will encourage users to 'Connect with respect'.
What does 'online rights and responsibilities' mean to you? Even though online rights can vary in a broad sense; we all might agree that safe online surfing without the fear of being hacked, stalked, privacy of personal data transmission and self-expression without abuse. Even though online responsibilities can vary in a broad sense; we all might agree that online responsibility involved legal, mental and moral answerability for any and everything one does online.
