What do Sanders, Dexter, Quincey, Mr. Fred & have in common? They shoot kids, and they are looking to shoot even more of them. No, they are not being arrested by area police, but rather spending quality time with students enrolled into 2014 Summer Intensive Arts Education & Technology Institute (SIAETI) in New Haven, CT working with extremely talented students from all over.

Local photographers plug in each Monday to make sure PIMOSH students receive the absolute best in professional photo-shoots. A different photographer is enlisted each week and this is the line-up for 2014. Shoots range from make-up & tattoo session to computer lab, to the library, and onto the playground. Either way, students get exposed to both professional photography and experience in working with industry folks.

Patrice Sanders has been shooting since around 17. Her younger sister was transitioning from life to death right before her eyes and she wanted to document the process, so she asked for and received a camera from her MOM on a Tuesday - by Thursday, she had a camera and her sister died. Patrice from Sanders Studio is sought after by many local and national entertainment artists to shoot them just as she has shot the children in New Haven. To reach her, like her on Facebook:

Quincey Jones, from CMQ Productions was only dreaming of photography when the doors opened for him. He reports his most exciting moment was filming French Montana in concert up close & personal, and the worst was shooting a lightening bolt that showed up blurry and found trouble capturing it again. This didn't stop him though - he continued on his path and the rest is history. If you would like to be shot by Quincy Jones of CMQ Publishing, go here:

Mr. Fred Roberts is old school, and reports not getting into photography until he was a full grown adult just messing around with a camera. He began shooting neighborhood folks and then became the go to guy for local churches and Christian events. Mr. Fred has been shooting children, however, for two years now and is not tired yet.

PhotosBy Dexter led by Dexter Jones (New Haven, CT) has his hands deep into the urban entrainment industry as he is called on to shoot the likes of most hip hop artist around the country. His most favorable moment was when he was requested to shoot the source awards for the first time. He reports that being the highlight of his career and the rest is history. If you would like to read more about Dexter and/or see some of the others he's shot, here's a link to his Facebook page:

Each of these creative artists spend much of their time on community initiatives, including but not limited to: Guns Down Books Up, Homelessness initiatives, and Faith Based happenings, including other great things in the local community. Here - we are simply sharing that they have all been guilty of shooting children this summer and each are ready to shoot even more of them.
