"The Bachelor"
This week on "The Bachelor" Jake visited the final four women's hometowns and met their families. In New York, Jake was grilled by Gia's mother and told by Gia's stepbrother that he would hunt him down if he ever hurt Gia. In Massachusetts, Ali shared an important piece of her life with Jake when she took him to visit her now deceased grandmother's home. In Oregon, Tenley shared her passion in life - dance - with Jake, and Jake finally started to feel like Tenley was ready to move on from her divorce. And, in Florida, Jake met and semi-bonded with Vienna's father, who believes that any man who isn't willing to treat his daughter like an absolute princess is not right for her. Before the rose ceremony, Ali learned that she had to make a terrible decision between her job and staying on the show. After hours of agonizing conversation with Jake, Ali decided she could not stay knowing she only had a one in four chance of being chosen.

"The Biggest Loser"
In honor of the 2010 Winter Olympics, "The Biggest Loser" contestants visited the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado this week. They met several of the athletes who will be competing in Vancouver this year, and they even trained with a few of the Olympic hopefuls. Also, this week, the teams were dissolved, so it is now every man and women for his or her self. When it came to elimination time, there was a red and yellow line. Melissa dropped below the red line after gaining one pound, sending herself home immediately. Cheryl and Darrell fell below the yellow line and were forced to compete in one more head-to-head competition to determine who would be the second person eliminated. The episode is to be continued, so viewers will not find out which contestant will stay until after the Olympics are over.

"American Idol"
Ellen DeGeneres made her "American Idol" debut this week when the show's hundreds of hopefuls made their way to Hollywood for another round of cuts. I wasn't sure going in to the episodes how I would feel about Ellen being an "Idol" judge. I asked myself the same question every one else has asked - "What does Ellen DeGeneres know about being an amazing singer?" After watching her first two episodes, my answer is, she knows very little about it, but it doesn't matter! Ellen is exactly the person "American Idol" needed to replace Paula. She plays the part that Paula used to play of being sweet and comforting and sometimes a little crazy, but she can also be honest and tell someone they were aweful. She did a fantastic job during her first week in Hollywood, and I can't wait to see how she does the rest of the season!
"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains"
Oh, "Survivor." How we have missed you! There is no doubt in my mind that who they chose to be on "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" were the right choices. In the first twenty minutes of the premiere episode, there were two serious injuries, nudity and pretty much everyone had eaten dirty thanks to a tribe member from the opposite tribe. The tribes are one and one when it comes to competitions at the moment, so it is still anyone's game. The Heroes are down one person now, though, after sending Sugar home at tribal council. Sugar may have left the game, but Russell is definitely back in the game. He was starting up final two alliances with Danielle and with Parvati not long after arriving at camp. He will have to work hard for his thrown this season, though, because it seems that Boston Rob could be making a play for the crown sometime soon.
