What happens when two people are in a relationship and have different work schedules?
There can be a lot of factors that play into this.
Depending on if the couples live separately or together, if they are really serious about the relationship or if it just something to do because having a relationship with someone on the same schedule would be a bit over whelming.
For some individuals who are in relationships the idea of working different schedules is perfect. Some people like the idea of having limited time with their significant other. They feel that absence makes the heart grow fonder and the less you see someone the more exited you are when you get together for the little time you have.
On the other hand there are some couples who are on different schedules that want to see each other more and they will go above and beyond to make the time.
These individuals will go out of their way to do something special for their significant other. They will have lunch together when they can or they will even settle for break time if that’s what will work.
For the couples that go out of their way for time together the element of surprise is taken to another level, especially for two.
Things like a warm bubble bath with lit candles and wine with two glasses, a table setting for a home cooked meal, taking turns giving each other a hot oil massage at the end of a long day to relieve some tension or a deciding to take a day off together just to spend some good quality time alone.
Unfortunately there is noting that is full proof for couples to do to make their relationship work, especially when they have different work shifts.
In the end it it’s the little personal things a person does from the heart for someone else that means so much.
