Last Friday in the North Texas area, sports fans, fathers, and people in general have witnessed a horrifying event involving a father and son at a Texas Rangers baseball game.

With respect to the deceased, now would be a good time for fathers to focus on the good times at the ballpark. This morning, ESPN is airing a "Top 5 Father/Son Moments in Baseball" during Sportscenter. Last night, Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees won the Home Run Derby with his father Jose, a former pitcher for the Houston Astros, pitching to him.

With labor stoppages in the NFL and the NBA, the Rangers look to the be only game in town for a while. What are your best memories with your children there? Hopefully you have taken in running the bases after a Sunday game, caught a fly ball, or just been a part of a really fun night at the park.

If not, brave the heat and take your son or daughter out to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and create some new memories. Even better, make a "Top 5".

*If you have a great ballpark memory, Rangers-related or not, please post it in the comments section below.
