I John 4:17-18 (AMP)
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. We love Him, because He first loved us.

It is important to know what you are waiting for in this life or you will settle for just about anything. Because most believers are not aware of the benefits associated with being a Child of the Living God, they compromise for much less than has been given to them by grace. The bottom line is that although people claim to love and trust God they do nothing of the sort. There is no fear in love. Dread does not exist. As our love for God matures and faith is turned to confident hope (trust), it is only then that we begin to stand strong in righteousness. Salvation removes everything we have to fear which is death itself. Righteousness positions us for God’s Plan for our life which is good with a future and hope. (Jeremiah 29:11) As we begin to seek God with our whole heart in love, fear moves out and faith begins to flourish. It is this position that hope becomes an anchor for our once weary and wandering soul. Fear is associated with punishment. We don’t understand that God loves us. He has always loved us. His Purpose for our life is to love us. His Plan is for us to love Him, too. We have nothing to fear in our relationship to the Lord and everything to gain if we know what we are waiting for and stop at nothing to attain it.

Romans 8:37-39 (AMP)
Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing can ever separate us from the Love of God. Do you believe that today? Are you persuaded beyond any doubt and completely sure that God loves you so much that death, life, angels, principalities, things impending, threatening, things to come, any other power, the highest highs or lowest lows or ANYTHING in all of creation ever separate you from the Love of God which is found through Jesus Christ His Son and our Savior and Lord? Before you answer, think about each thing listed in context with your life. No one knows you better than you outside of God. You may not believe that you are lovable which is somewhat true because sin made us all quite unlovable. Do you believe that His Grace is sufficient? (2 Corinthians 12:9) To believe such a thing means that it is enough to battle any danger and enables us to bear trouble even in our human state. It means that we can accept our weakness knowing that His Strength and Power are not only for us but alive in us even when do not feel. Those who believe in the sufficiency of God’s Grace are able to experience hard times with peace and confidence knowing that God is with them. Those who believe in God’s Love for them will be more than conquerors merely through total acceptance and submission to His Love. Those who have faith that God’s Purpose is to love us and not punish us will be able to experience the full benefit of His Great Love apart from fear, doubt and worry. A lack of confidence will cause us to settle for less than all that God has prepared, planned and provided for us simply because we do not believe He means what He said or is willing to do it for His Children. I would be heartbroken if my children did not believe in my love for them. I would be totally devastated if they did not come to me when they needed something expecting me to help them any way possible. If God’s Love alone makes us more than conquerors as He said, then that means in every battle we win, every fight we overcome and in every race we have victory. So who ever heard of the winner not waiting for the prize? Imagine the victor in a car race not heading to victory lane to claim their reward and celebrate victory. Name a prize fighter who did not wait for the ring announcer to lift their hand and put the belt around their waist proclaiming them victorious. I could go on and on but you get the point. Christians will not wait for the prize so they leave disappointed in God when it really was fear that kept them from all that God had for them.

Proverbs 29:25-26 (AMP)
The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high. Many crave and seek the ruler’s favor, but the wise man [waits] for justice from the Lord.

Fear is a trap. It is a tactic and tool of the enemy to make us doubt the Love of God manifested in Jesus Christ. Those who learn to lean on, trust in and have full confidence in the Lord will be safe and set on high. But those who crave the ruler’s favor (the things of this world) as enough will be caught in fear of lack and less than enough. But those who are wise and wait for God’s Justice will be safe and richly rewarded. All the enemy has to do is convince you that God is not coming, He will not satisfy you or to stop waiting and settle – He can rob you in this place. But those who decide that the Lord is their Shepherd and wait inside the gate of righteousness that He has provided will have life in abundance. “I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep.” (John 10:9-11) The Lord has promised us a live of abundance that is to the full until it is overflowing. Are you living such a life? If not, are you willing to wait for it?

It seems that just when I have overcome fear, I find something else to be afraid of. The Lord is working in my life to grow and mature my faith into confident hope that endures to the end so that I will be saved. I know this to be true. I accept this. Now I am learning to trust the Lord for everything that He promised rather than accepting just a little and never asking for a lot. In our son’s battle with cancer, we have hit an obstacle. His cancer is rare and treatment is new and innovative. Though there is great progress in treating this type of cancer and the possibility of full remission, the underwriting of our insurance policy will not allow them to approve a bone marrow transplant. We have reached out with an appeal. It has been weeks. We are waiting. This is a matter of life and death. The stakes are high. Another hospital who heard of our son’s case contacted me that they are interested in proceeding with the treatment at their facility which we have never visited. In the midst of some relief, I felt a red flag arise. Becoming unsettled, I believe that God has something better for him if we will wait but everything in the natural is telling me not to. This is the part where grace comes in. There is this world. Then there is the Kingdom of God. I remain connected to God’s Love by grace standing in the Blood of Jesus, I remain righteous and therefore have many benefits at my disposal. It is in this position of vulnerability that I must dig deep within my heart to discover if I will trust the Lord for this thing that I think is coming or take what I see in front of my face. I will trust the Lord.

Galatians 5:4-6 (AMP)
If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God’s gracious favor and unmerited blessing). For we, [not relying on the Law but] through the [Holy] Spirit’s [help], by faith anticipate and wait for the blessing and good for which our righteousness and right standing with God [our conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action, causes us] to hope. For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.

Anytime that we accept less than God’s Very Best because of fear, we declare that the Grace of God offered through Jesus Christ, His Son is not enough for us. It is in that moment that we believe that the Law still influences the outcomes in our life rather than accepting the righteousness that Jesus Christ has given us. Faith allows us to anticipate and wait on the blessings of God with full confidence in the hope we have been given that God Will is the best thing for our life. It should be considered gross injustice if we are not living in the fulfillment and completeness of Jesus Christ as a violation of our rights as Child of God. We should become indignant when the enemy offers counterfeits and substitutions. Those who hunger and thirst for justice according to His Grace will be satisfied. (Matthew 5:6) When you step into right standing with God and refuse to move from this position until He comes – you better brace yourself because He is about to blow you away with an overflow and outpouring like never before simply because you believe. Faith in the Power of God for your life comes from a better understanding that it has nothing to do with what we do but everything to do with our willingness to accept God’s Love and its full potential with the confidence to wait for it.

I Corinthians 13:4-8 (AMP)
Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].

Everyone is familiar with the “Love” chapter of the Bible. But did you know that in our vain attempt to love others, we have missed the point entirely. The love described in this chapter is the way that God loves us. He loved us first. He demonstrated love to us so we can reflect it back to Him. When you understand just how much God loves you, how long He has loved you and that He will stop at nothing to get His Love to you, it is quite overwhelming. If you don’t have pure satisfaction and total confidence in God’s Love for you – you will never find the satisfaction and completion that God has first for your heart. Your soul will prosper in the intimacy of a lover’s relationship with our Lord and Savior. It is with such tenderness, mercy, compassion and faithfulness that Jesus cares for us with such passion that He could not bear to ever be separated from us that His Unconditional, Uncompromising and Unfailing Love comes to us. The Lord is not asking you to do anything that He has not already done. But He is offering undeserved privilege and blessing to those who will wait for His Love to be perfected in them.

Isaiah 1:16-18 (NLT)
Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways. Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows. “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool. If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat.”

Seek justice. Love does not rejoice in injustice. Injustice is a violation of rights. It is unjust or unfair treatment. You are a Child of God. You do not have to accept the injustice of this world just wait on His Love to prefect that which concern you. (Psalm 138:8) Will you wait for God’s Love to finish working in your life today? It is an injustice not to. We must not forget the benefits of God for our life including salvation, healing, redemption, and the good things that He fills our life with. (Psalm 103:2-12) If you do not have everything God promised then what are you waiting for? We must not give up on perfection and completion that result in us lacking no good thing. (James 1:2-4) Love transforms us to experience all of God’s Glory from the inside out. This is prosperity of our soul. (3 John 1:2) His Glory produces extreme happiness and prosperity from the inside out so stop trying to work it from the outside in. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) There is no such thing as fake it until you make it in the Kingdom just faith it until His Glory makes it a reality in your life. We are inheritors of God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense so why are we so unwilling to wait for all these benefits in our life? We are not decided that God is for us. We are unsure of the sufficiency of His Grace. We are not confident in hope. We do not believe. We lack faith in His Amazing Love. ”For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9) You are set to inherit the Kingdom of God including every single benefit that Jesus Christ died for you to have. It all begins by accepting the Love of God and positioning our self in righteousness refusing to move until His Glory fills our life with everything that He promised. It is all worth waiting for. What is fear robbing from you today? If you want it – reposition yourself in the Love of God and cling to Jesus Christ until what He has promised in full detail comes to pass. Be wary of counterfeits and illegal substitutions that the enemy is trying to make you settle for as God’s Best when you know in your heart it is not. Evaluate God’s Love for you from His Perspective and not your own. You are worthy of God’s Love because of Jesus Christ end of story. God’s does not want to punish us so there is nothing to fear but by learning how much we are loved will cast out all fear making room for more faith. Faith is the power to believe that produces confident hope. Confident hope anchors our heart, mind, body and soul in position to receive every promise that God ever made us! That’s what I am waiting for today…how about you?

Proverbs 28:5 (AMP)
Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand all.
