What are the fates of AMC, A&E, ABC Family, and BBC shows for next season

This is the time of year that many television viewers are looking for information about their favorite shows from the big five television stations- ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and The CW. These usually come in fast and strong by April or May. But, what about the cable shows? Well, it is about time for most of the cable shows to be announcing those who are renewed and those that are cencelled. So, who are the shows that will be returning for the next season?

Well, here is a list of the shows fates from the AMC, A&E, ABC Family, and BBC stations.

Cable shows that are cancelled now or at the end of this season

  • Being Human
  • Breaking Bad
  • Bunheads
  • Copper
  • Long Winter Sun
  • Luther
  • Ravenswood
  • Ripper Street
  • The Glades
  • The Lying Game
  • The Secret Life of the American Teenager

"Breaking Bad" has spawned a spin off in " Better Call Saul" with word that some of the actors will be making guest appearances every now and then.

But, if you notice ABC Family has cancelled several of their young adult shows including "The Lying Game", "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" ,"Ravenswood", and "Bunheads". This leaves lots of room open for new shows that center around teenage angst.

Cable shows that are renewed

  • Big Daddy
  • Doctor Who
  • Hell on Wheels
  • In the Flesh
  • Let’s Stay Together
  • Longmire
  • Mad Men
  • Melissa and Joey
  • Orphan Black
  • Portlandia renewed for season 4 and 5
  • Pretty Little Liars
  • Switched at Birth
  • The Fosters
  • The Game
  • The Walking Dead

As you see so many of the veteran strong shows have made the cut like "Doctor Who". "Pretty Little Liars", and "The Walking Dead".
