The BET Experience was awesome, it was crazy and it was fabulous. There was so much to do and see. There were people everywhere enjoying themselves. Celebrities cited walking around LA Live were Hill Harper, Mack Wilds, Trey Songs, Draya from Basketball Wives, Ne-Yo and Robert Christopher Riley from the Hit VH-1 show Hit The Floor were out and about displaying support for the channel that supports them. What an amazing weekend for Black Entertainment.

The weekend begin on Friday with concert performances from OUTKAST, Maxwell, Jill Scott ASAP Rocky, Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Future, Jennifer Hudson, the Roots and Friends and many, many more. Early on in the day, the Grammy Museum Exhibit, 106&Park Live and the invite only Fall 2014 Fashion Preview presented by Poetic Justice Jeans. The fashions that were presented will comfort your inner fashionista this fall.

Saturday was a day for The Lord as the Gospel Choir Showcase was hosted by Hezekiah Walker and featured Antioch Church of Long Beach, City of Refuge, Faithful Central, Greater Zion Church and West Angeles Church. These choirs "Turned Up The Praise" with choir performances that praised and honored the Holy Spirit.

Genius Talks was an intellectual experience for those that wanted to seat down and have a deep discussion about the important issues that are going on around us in the world. Guest included Dr. Mae Jemison, Bill Withers and Will Packer whom was interviewed by Boris Kojoe. Will Packer honored his son at the event for positively changing his life and being accepted into Harvard. A real gem to see for the youth that were at the panel discussion. Snoop Dogg & Chris Paul were interviewed by Jemele Hill of Detroit Michigan.

Ending on Sunday with the Sprite Street-ball Basketball Game, were the street BALLERS which included, The Workout, Pat Tha Rock, Air Canada, JT Tha Flight, Former Bull, Hit Man, Zigg Zagg, The Hype and Hoop Star squared up against one another to defend the Sprite Street Ball Championship. Doug Christy was in the building to support his team. The home team lost, and the away team walked away feeling like champions!

Of Course the weekend ended with the BET Awards hosted by the HILLARIOUS Chris Rock! What a way to End the BET Experience.
