Whale watching in Rocky Point, Mexico..this is not photo shopped

No, this is not a photo shop trick on the computer or taken by a National Geographic photographer on a whale watching expedition in Alaska. This is a beautiful shot taken from a 38 ft. Catamaran, called Gato Loco on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico by part time resident Gillian Panasewicz on Friday, February1, 2012.

In the video, the whale is almost top sizing a Mexican fishing boat but lucky for the fisherman no one went into the water, except of course the whale and what looked to be her baby.

A group of Arizonians living part time in Rocky Point got the best show of a life time when they went out for a day of sailing. The whales in their migration have been seen for the last few weeks and may continue until the end of February, beginning of March. Make plans for your upcoming weekend and take a trip to the beach, you never know what you might see.
