According to WFGX-TV, they had a plan to broadcast recordings of network programs from ThisTV and syndicated programs between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. during the calendar week of Wednesday, March 6th, instead of programs from the live network feed from ThisTV in order to avoid broadcasting programs that might get interrupted by solar radiation when the communications satellite used by ThisTV to send their network programming to WFGX-TV appears in direct alignment between the sun and the station. As a result of those plans, WFGX-TV's programming schedule from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5th, consisted of two episodes of "Green Acres", a situation comedy, and one episode of "Mister Ed", another situation comedy, instead of the theatrical movie "Trooper Hook", which was scheduled to be on the live network feed for ThisTV during that time period (the episodes of "Green Acres" were on the live network feed at 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. respectively and the episode of "Mister Ed" was on the live feed at 5:30 a.m. WFGX-TV was set to broadcast programming from Jewelry Television at the times those programs were recorded).
