Wet week ahead for Texas

Discussion

At least 2 storm systems will bring southeast Texas chances for rain throughout the next 10 days. The first system will move across the state on Wednesday. Computer models are showing rainfall amounts up to .50 inch across our area. The next storm system will approach Texas this weekend. This system could bring us a chance of severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. Throughout the next 10 days, some areas could receive over 3 inches of rain! Temperatures will remain above normal for at least the next 7 days (high temperatures in the 70s and low temperatures in the 50s). I hope all of Texas receives at least some rain because we still need it!
