Westside comic book store has moved

For those of you Westside comic book fans that have been missing their favorite comic book shop and haven’t already heard, Downtown Comics West has moved. But don’t worry, True Believers, because they’ve only moved one mile east of their former location. During the week between Christmas and New Year’s, Downtown Comics moved from 8336 W. 10th street on the corner of 10th Street and Country Club Road to the their new address 7301 W. 10th Street.

Their new store is located at the corner of 10th and Girls School Road in a strip mall along with Ace Cash Express and Wireless 4 Less. Customers will notice that the new store is not only cleaner but also better lit and a little roomier too. The store still offers a selection of new and old comic books as well as graphic novels, toys, and collectibles. Glenn and James are ready and willing to help you find that comic book or graphic novel that you’ve been looking for or chat about the latest comic book movie, superhero cartoon or comic book storyline.

Other stores located around that area are Marsh, Starbucks, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Speedway Gas Station, and the legendary Noble Roman’s Pizza, which still has some of the best breadsticks in town as well as the “Marvel Super Heroes” arcade game located in the lobby.
