While television viewers may know announcer David Frei only for his role as "the voice of Westminster," Mr. Frei's tireless support of therapy dogs and the work they do has long been recognized by many involved with this important, groundbreaking field.
Mr. Frei is the chairman of Angel on a Leash, an organization with a simple goal: "to create the best therapy dog programs in health care facilities and other settings across the country. He is the author of Angel on a Leash, in which he shares his personal experiences in his work with therapy dogs, patients of all ages and rehabilitation centers.
This Saturday night at Manhattan's Affinia Hotel, Angel on a Leash will hold its annual Best in Show Party. Guests will include Westminster Best in Show winners Malachy (2012), Hickory (2011), Uno(2008) and Sadie (2010).
