Westminster week begins today, Wednesday, February 8, with some of the dogs and owners arriving into New York City.
Thursday, lots of news coverage begins, starting with Good Morning America doing a segment on the rare breeds. Next, the Wendy Williams Show will do a “judging” segment during which Wendy and Hulk Hogan will look at some of the really interesting breeds and wonder what celebrities they match.
Later Thursday, David Frei will preside over a news conference about the six new breeds entered at Westminster.
Friday at 7 am, David and the dogs will be on Fox & Friends. Then, at 4 pm we head to Wall Street for Closing Bell.
It will be fascinating! I know, because I am the television producer who has arranged the dogs’ appearances at these shows!
On Friday, February 10, many specialty shows starting with the Progressive Dog Club (Toy Group Show) at the New York Hotel Pennsylvania and the Collie Club of Long Island at Bristol, CT.
