Announcing the One Month to Live Western Oklahoma Writing Contest!
Submit a 250 word article on this topic: My One Month to Live Journey.
This topic obviously gives the contestant wide latitude in the subject so long as the entry is faithful to the topic (Living to the full, living passionately, loving completely, learning humbly, leaving boldly, or living without regrets are just a few areas where you may find that you have a story to tell). The challenge is to make this topic relevant to people in today’s world. Winners will be determined based upon the following criteria.
· A clearly understood message that makes a valid point.
· Proper grammar, syntax, and spelling used throughout the article.
· Received in proper submission window (early and late entries not considered)
· Entries must not exceed the word count.
· Entries must be submitted within the text of an email message.
· Entries must be text only (no html, xml, etc.)
· Please place One Month to Live Writing Contest in the subject line of the email
Prizes for first and second place will be coffee, books, or gift certificates and online publication of your work. Display rights for all entries belong to TheOklahoma.info upon receipt. You retain the copyright to your submission.
You may submit up to 3 quality entries for this contest. There is no entry fee.
Submission window: No earlier than 5 April and no later than 10 April 2010. Winners will be notified by email and results posted on this site.
All entries must be submitted to tomspence0302@gmail.com
The bottom line is that this is not a contest for big bucks. It is a call for prospective writers to get in the writing arena and see what happens. Good things happen to good writers!

What do you call a guy with degrees in Political Science and Biblical Studies? What do you call someone that served as a Marine Officer for over 20 years and now pastors a church? What do you call someone with this unique perspective of the kingdom of the world and the kingdom of God?
Most folks just call me Tom.
