The recent episode called, “Two of a Kind” from the CBS TV show “Vegas” aired Tuesday night Feb. 19, 2013 at 10/9 p.m. (check your local listings). A western movie production comes to Las Vegas & the producer visits the ‘Savoy’ casino which is run by Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis). That producer has to return to Hollywood but he wants his ‘starlet’ actress named Violet to be watched over. Dixon Lamb (Taylor Handley) from the sheriff’s office is paid to be her body guard. On the movie set - a western covered wagon - is surrounded by dead settlers. Violet gets into position on the wagon & the director calls for action as the camera starts rolling. Native American men (Background Extras) on horseback circle the wagon of white settlers.
April jumps down to speak her lines & the director says “cut” to inform her that her dialogue was dropped to only one sentence. She gets angry, jumps on a horse & rides off the set. Dixon follows her on his own horse.
Meanwhile - Jack Lamb (Jason O’Mara) is still hiding the truth from his girlfriend Mia Rizzo (Sarah Jones). He shot & killed her father Johnny Rizzo (Michael Wiseman) in self-defense weeks before. Jack was set up by Vincent Savino by walking into a trap where Rizzo tried to kill him by electric shocks. He fled the scene & kept everything quiet but Savino knows because he’s been trying to get Rizzo out of the way.
Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid) figures it out that Jack was the man who killed Rizzo. He had noticed his brother’s finger print which was taken after the murder. Savino black mails Jack by forcing him to steer the FBI away from his people as they hide casino money in their bags that would reach the Chicago mob. Jack finally tells Mia the truth & throws him out of her apartment. He also tells Ralph the rest of the story. - Will Jack be arrested for the murder of Rizzo? - Will Mia take Jack back as her lover? Will Ralph go after Vincent Savino over the set up & the blackmail?
