Westboro Baptist Church: Threatening to protest the NCAA Final Four

The Westboro Baptist Church is making threats again. This time, those threats are against the NCAA Final Four in April. According to a March 21 report by Outsports, the Westboro Baptist Church plans to show up with their signs of hate at the Final Four.

The Westboro Baptist Church is always making threats. They announce through their several Twitter accounts that will be at different events, funerals or any other type of gathering. Despite their threats, the Westboro Baptist Church rarely shows up. If they do, they do not always leave their vehicles.

“I think they should just stay home, literally,” Stephen Sutton, from Oklahoma City, said. “Seeing the Westboro Baptist Church have the gay pride flag house across the street, they should try to clean up, so to speak, their own neighborhood before going after the rest of the country.”

It is unknown if the Westboro Baptist Church will actually show up at the Final Four in April. If the Westboro Baptist Church does manage to show up and get out of their cars, they are sure to be met with counter protests and a strong police presence.
