Westboro Baptist Church has big plans to go to Robin Williams' funeral. They are planning to picket the funeral because they are always ready to come to any high profile funeral that will bring attention to them. On Friday, Huffington Post shared about their plans for this funeral.

The funeral for Robin Williams is said to be a very private funeral. They are not inviting the public and it will be for just the people closest to him. This means they obviously don't want a huge protest going on outside while the family tries to say good bye to Robin Williams. You know that a lot of people will show up to keep them as far away as possible.

A group called Planting Peace is doing whatever they can to keep Westboro Baptist Church away from the funeral. This group helps to promote peace and they are against what Westboro has planned. They are going to honor Robin Williams by actually doing a fundraiser. All of the money that they raise will go to St. Jude Children's Hospital. This was a place that was very important to Robin and he will love that they are helping them out.

Planting Peace set a goal of $30,000 to earn. They are already working hard on it. It doesn't look like this will be enough to keep Westboro Baptist Church from showing up at the funeral.

Westboro was on Twitter sharing what people had to say about them protesting this funeral. It appears that they say that his comedy mocked God and that is why they want to picket the funeral. They have been known to not show up in the past though so it will be interesting to see if they actually show up at the funeral of Robin Williams or if they are just enjoying the press leading up to it.
