The punk band, “Get Shot!,” filmed an adult movie on the front lawn of the Westboro Baptist Church headquarters in Topeka. The Westboro Baptist Church is famous for protesting and picketing funerals of celebrities and the funerals of military members. According to an October 3 report by Gawker, “Get Shot!” filmed their bisexual bassist pleasuring herself on the property of the Westboro Baptist Church.
Laura Lush, the only star in the adult movie filmed at the Westboro Baptist Church headquarters, stated she wanted to “cause controversy.”
“I can't help but wonder what they wanted to prove by doing that,” Hannah Rice, from Oklahoma City, said. “I don't like the Westboro Baptist Church and I also don't like movies like that or people getting naked in public. I think both the church and the band are idiots.”
The adult movie was uploaded to the “Get Shot!'s” free adult site. It is believed to have been watched by at least one Westboro Baptist Church member. The church consists mostly of members of the Fred Phelps family, the founder of the alleged church that many are calling to be classified as a hate group.
It appears that the filming of this movie was a last-minute decision. “Get Shot!” was driving one to Denver for a concert when they stopped in Topeka to film their movie at the Westboro Baptist Church headquarters. The punk band plans to return to the WBC headquarters with a “group of girls and a whole camera crew” later.
At the time of publication, the Westboro Baptist Church had yet to release a statement about “Get Shot!” using their front lawn to film such a movie.
