It’s a brand new season for the West Palm GreenMarket starting this Saturday, October 5th and continuing each and every Saturday – rain or shine – until May 31, 2014.
Located at 101 South Flagler Drive near the West Palm Beach Waterfront, the GreenMarket features over 90 vendors representing hundreds of acres of local farming and offers a healthful and delectable array of fresh produce, dairy, meat, poultry, baked goods, seafood, flowers, and more.
Inspired by the success of public markets in Italy and Europe, former West Palm Beach Mayor Nancy Graham authorized the City’s Community events staff to create a public market back in 1994. Since then, the WPB GreenMarket has become well-known for its friendly vendors, quality products and scenic location.
To accommodate shoppers, parking is free at the Banyan and Evernia Street Parking Garages during GreenMarket hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. So come one, come all!
