Interested in becoming a legendary West Hollywood Cheerleader? The cheerleaders will be holding spring tryouts on Wed, Feb 27th, 2013 at the West Hollywood Gateway (7100 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90046)\.
Beginning a West Hollywood Cheerleader enrich not only their own lives, but the lives of their teammates and the lives of the people in the community we serve. Every cheerleader brings “her” own style and individuality to the squad.
The West Hollywood Cheerleaders, founded in 1986, are a vibrant and enthusiastic organization of volunteers dedicated to addressing social stereotypes and ending the stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS. Our public performances and grassroots support of other HIV/AIDS based charities has strengthened our role in the community as we continue the fight against HIV/AIDS.
If invited to join the West Hollywood Cheerleaders, new members will be asked to purchase their uniform, pom poms and shoes for approximately $300.
*Participation is a 1 year commitment of service.
*Bring a willingness to raise money & awareness for HIV/AIDS.
*Have fun enriching the lives of others.
