CLICK HERE FOR NEWEST UPDATE ON 2010 WEST COAST BASS PRO AM TOURNAMENT CIRCUIT. You don't have to trade your bass boat for a bike to try your hand at some two wheel speed. If you've got the stuff to take home the crown for first place pro winner in the West Coast Bass Pro Am at Clear Lake, you will also take home this custom built, custom paint collector motorcycle.
WCB bumps up the pro prize package with a little something extra for their 2010 kick off event in February, and thats not the only thing different on the circuit this year.
This season won't hit a fisherman's wallet as hard with lower entry fees setting a pro boater back $350, with only two bills to get you on the back deck as a non boater.
Entry fees include the cost of the new "mega big fish pool", a combined boater/ non boater pot, paying the two biggest fish each tourney day and an overall big fish for the event.
If you're feeling you got this one in the bag, you might want to roll the dice with the Double Down option, this gives an angler an opportunity to win more than the regular payout scheme.
With boasts of "all new concepts and all new options" and featuring a 90% pro pay back, West Coast Bass Pro Am runs through 2010 with four events and a qualifying classic.
As they did for the 2009 series, Angler West TV will again offer coverage of the Pro Ams and Classic on Comcast Sportsnet television.
West Coast Bass will visit Clear Lake again to launch the two day, shared weight, $400 all in Superteams series in June.

This is to answer more questions about the Harley & our new concepts. It will go to first place Pro & you only need be in the base entry fee not the double down to win it! We will give the Harley away no matter what with no minimum participation qualification. The Harley was purchased by a private collector of rare cars & motorcycles. The original price exceeded 35K. We have not had it appraised so we can put a reasonable value on it for tax purposes for the winner. It totally matters on how many boats enter on whether or not cash will be added to the first place as well. Traditionally first place gets 30% of the total Pro cash purse which is based on a 90% return of entry fees. The payback on both sides of the field is based on a 1 in 5 return or 20% of the field getting checks
The Double Down option will be paid back to the top five that entered in that option. That option money will be split as follows:30% to 1st 25%-20%-3rd 15% -4th 10%-5thdouble Down money is seperate for boaters /non-boaters.Boaters & non-boaters are all in the Mega Big Bass pool. 50% of that pool will go for the overall big bass. other half will be split into 1st & 2nd daily big bass awards. Sooverall big bass winner will get a daily big bass award & the overall money as well! I hope that helps clear up some question/concerns. Feel free to ask away or call me direct.
See you at Clear Lake!
