West Coast Animal Rescue needs donations for dog with back legs sawed off

This sweet dog has undergone unimaginable pain this week. A few days ago she was found in the Long Beach, California area with wire wrapped around her back legs. When the wire was removed, her back legs fell off.

Thanks to Sherri Stankewitz and the West Coast Animal Rescue (WeCARe), this very abused dog, now known as TJ Girl, is getting the care she needs. On Thursday she received a much needed blood transfusion. The vet now believes someone sawed off her back legs.

Even after the pain and suffering she's known at the hands of humans, TJ Girl has eyes of gold that are still so trusting of humans. Everyone who has seen her has been heartbroken over the atrocities this sweet girl has had thrust upon her.

The staff at WeCARe, which is a 501c3 charitable organization, is determined to see TJ Girl gets the best care available. This not only includes the treatment necessary to save her life, but also what she'll need as she gains strength in the days ahead. One foreseeable need is a dog wheelchair.

You can help cover the cost of whatever it takes to get TJ Girl healthy and loved by donating to WeCARe by clicking here. Be sure to mention your donation is for TJ Girl.

If anyone knows who did this to an innocent animal, please contact WeCARe with that information.
