Wesleyan University Ice Hockey Games at Spurrier Synder Rink

Wesleyan University Men's Ice Hockey Team played an exciting game on November 30 at 4 p.m. against the Wentworth Instuitute of Technology team. The final score was a tie of 2 to 2 between the two teams. The Cardinals and the Leopards played an action filled game for spectators that attended. The crowd was smaller than usual due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Men and women's hockey games are held at the Spurrier Synder Rink that was constructed in 1970. This rink holds about 1,500 people. It has a concession stand that serves hot beverages and snacks for those that attend the games. Xavier and Cheshire High School hockey games are played here too. Many local community hockey groups use the rink for games and special events.

The next Wesleyan Men's Hockey Game is held on December 7 at 7 p.m. It is against Hobart College. On January 4th the Cardinals will compete against Suny Canton at 3 p.m. The next Wesleyan Women's Ice Hockey Game is on January 3 at 7 p.m. All home games are held at the Spurrier Synder Rink located in the Freeman Athletic Center.

The rink is located in Freeman Athletic Center in Middletown, CT. For more information about games you can call 860-685-2927. Hockey is an exciting game to bring teens and older kids interested in leaning the sports or attending the college for athletics.
