The Daily News reported that Wesley Warren Jr, 49, passed away on Friday. Warren’s story went viral across social media as the man with a scrotum that weighed 132 pounds. He died yesterday at a Las Vegas hospital. Although no cause of death was revealed, Joey Hurtado, Warren’s roommate, said that Warren had recently experienced two heart attacks.
Hurtado told the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
“He was in the hospital for five and a half weeks,” Hurtado told the paper. “He had infections that I think were brought on by his diabetes and then he had those heart attacks.”
Hurtado also said that he didn’t think his scrotum surgery had anything to do with his death. Warren endured a thirteen hour surgery. He appeared in a documentary about his condition and as a guest on the Howard Stern show and Comedy Central. Warren said his injury stemmed from an injury to his right testicle in 2008.
