The group epitomizes the spirit of the 60s soul music they perform, with originals as well as covers of the classics comprising their repertoire. Audiences young and old can’t help but get hooked by front-man Wesley Bright with his smooth moves, timeless look and fervent vocals. Backed by an amazingly talented group of musicians, this group presents an entire package rarely seen in groups of this era. A cohesive look mirrors their cohesive sound, with all members dressed to the nines in full suit and tie getups.

At their record-release show on August 30th, Wesley Bright & the Hi-Lites had the Beachland Ballroom packed and filled with an excited energy before they even arrived on stage. Once they did hit those first notes and Wesley Bright appeared with his award-winning smile, the night went instantly into epic proportions with smiles on everyone’s faces and few feet able to stand still.

This Friday’s engagement will surely have the Tavern reaching capacity. If you want to experience one of the hottest bands bringing life to music in Northeast Ohio, make sure to arrive early and stay late. But be prepared to be warm and friendly—the dancing and smiles will be surrounding you on every side.

Tickets: $10
Doors Open: 8pm
